The Christmas (shopping) spirit has officially descended upon Paris!

We stopped by the Galeries Lafayette this afternoon and discovered that they had put up their Christmas tree and set up elaborate, fantastic displays in all of their storefront windows. Much to the delight of adults and children alike, the displays were each unique and amazing -- at least a dozen windows were decorated, each the size of a small room. There was quite a crowd around the outside of the department store admiring the spectacle.

Emmett was enthralled with the music, lights, and characters moving and dancing around.

All those lights really put us in the mood for gelato :) Fortunately, there was an Amorino located inside the department store to satisfy our craving.
